Flower and Rope

My style of kinbaku is ever adapting and evolving as I follow my own path and grow as a shibari-te (one who ties/gives rope). My rope will be different with each person and every scene, and is fluid like the ocean.

I’ve realized that kinbaku is not a competition about who makes the most complex patterns. It is never about the knots, the tie, the style or dojo where one learned, or a certificate gained that in the end is meaningless.

It is about the person inside the rope. The moments shared and the journey that we undertake together upon the vast ocean of feeling.
